West Somerset Free Press
The West Somerset Free Press is a weekly broadsheet newspaper published on Fridays for the Exmoor area, covering the Somerset coastline from Lynton to Burnham-on-Sea and extending inland as far as Bridgwater, Taunton and Tiverton.
It’s published by West Somerset Free Press Ltd, which has been owned by the Tindle Newspapers group since 1980. It was founded 120 years earlier by printer Samuel Cox of Williton, and remained in the family until 1969.
It has a sub-edition: the Minehead & West Somerset Free Press.
