The Wells Journal is a weekly tabloid newspaper published on Thursdays for the Somerset cathedral city of Wells and the surrounding parts of North East Somerset.
It celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2001.
It’s published by Wells Newspapers Ltd, a sub-division of Mid Somerset News & Media Ltd, which itself is part of the Northcliffe Media Group. Its sister paper is the Shepton Mallet Journal.
