Tewkesbury Admag (defunct)

The Tewkesbury Admag was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to households in the Gloucestershire town of Tewkesbury and to neighbouring towns and villages to the south and east, including Bishop’s Cleeve.

It was established in 1974, as part of an Admag series, based in the Worcestershire town of Evesham. Latterly it was the sole survivor, the other titles apparently having been rolled into the Evesham Journal series.

It was published by Newsquest (Midlands South); the editorial offices were in Evesham.

It came out on Fridays. It appears to have ceased publication in 2008: it hasn’t been listed by Newsquest (Midlands South) in their portfolio since then, although the main Newsquest UK site still carries it. However, the website was still live and being updated as of January 2014.
