Teignmouth News

The Teignmouth News is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Teignmouth at the mouth of the River Teign in Mid-Devon.

It was founded in 1983, initially as a property newspaper. It’s published by Dawlish Newspapers Ltd, which has been a branch of the Tindle Newspapers group owned by Sir Ray Tindle since 1987. Although the Tindle group has a paid-for title for Teignmouth, the Teignmouth Post, the News is actually part of the Dawlish Gazette group of newspapers and has separate editorial offices from the Post, in Teignmouth (the Post‘s are in Newton Abbot).

It shares the Dawlish Newspapers website with the Dawlish Gazette; an e-edition of the Teignmouth News (free) can be found there.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
