Cornish Times

The Cornish Times is a weekly tabloid newspaper based in Liskeard and sold throughout South East Cornwall, from Torpoint, Saltash and Callington in the east to St Austell, Lostwithiel and Bodmin in the west, taking in the seaside towns of Fowey and Looe along the way.

It was founded in 1857 by E and J Philp as The Cornish Times and General Advertiser; it became the Liskeard & Cornish Times at the beginning of 1999, then reverted to simply the Cornish Times in August 2001. It’s now published by Putnam Newspapers, a subsidiary of the Tindle Newspapers group.

It comes out on Fridays. An e-edition is also available from the website by paid subscription.
