Chew Valley Gazette

The Chew Valley Gazette – in full, the Chew Valley & Wrington Vale Gazette – is a monthly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in the North and North East Somerset villages between Bristol, Bath and Wells.

It was founded in 1984 as the Chew Valley Digest but changed its title in 1989. It’s published by Chew Valley Gazette Publishing Limited, which since December 2011 has been a subsidiary of Sir Ray Tindle’s Tindle Newspapers group, from offices in Chew Magna. (It has no connection with the nearby Cheddar Valley Gazette, which is published by Local World.)

Each month’s issue generally comes out on the last Friday of the preceding month. An e-edition’s also available online.
