Windsor Advertiser
The Windsor Advertiser is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in and around the town of Windsor and throughout the Royal Borough of Windsor in eastern Berkshire.
It’s owned by an independent trust, set up by Maidenhead Advertiser proprietor Louis Baylis in 1962; the publication company is Baylis & Co (The Maidenhead Advertiser) Ltd. It’s a new foundation: it was launched in September 2008 as a counterpart to the Maidenhead Advertiser and as a paid sister newspaper to the Windsor, Ascot & Eton Express. It’s produced in Maidenhead, although there are staff based in Windsor.
Although the masthead quotes the website’s URL as www.windsor-advertiser.co.uk, the content is actually on the Maidenhead Advertiser‘s site.
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition of the Maidenhead Advertiser is also available online by paid subscription.
