Sevenoaks Chronicle
The Sevenoaks Chronicle is a weekly tabloid newspaper for the town of Sevenoaks and much of north-western Kent; its circulation area takes in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Edenbridge, Westerham and Malling.
It’s published by Northcliffe South East Media, part of the Daily Mail & General Trust. The editorial offices are in Sevenoaks. There are two local sub-editions: the Westerham Chronicle and the Malling Chronicle. There’s also a freesheet companion, the News In Focus.
At the time of its launch in 1881 it faced competition from no less than three rival newspapers, the Sevenoaks Express, the Sevenoaks Free Press and the Sevenoaks Herald. It’s now the only paid Sevenoaks title.
It comes out on Thursdays.
