MK News

The MK News is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes in and around the New Town and unitary authority of Milton Keynes (part of the ceremonial county of Buckinghamshire), including the towns of Newport Pagnell, Bletchley, Wolverton and Stony Stratford.

It was launched in August 2002. It’s published by LSN Media, which was founded in 1977 and has been part of Iliffe News & Media since August 2005. Iliffe itself became part of the new Local World media group at the beginning of 2013. LSN publish thirteen titles across Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire.

The editorial offices are in Milton Keynes.

In addition to the direct distribution to households, a small number of copies (about one per cent of the print run) are distributed by handout at Milton Keynes railway station.

It won the 2008 UK Weekly Newspaper of the Year Award.

It comes out on Wednesdays. A free e-edition is also available via email and on the website.
