The Hayling Islander

since 2002 – is a monthly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes throughout Hayling Island off the coast of Hampshire
, including the towns of South Hayling, North Hayling, Stoke and West Town.
It was founded in 1973. It’s published by Portsmouth Publishing & Printing Ltd, publishers of Portsmouth-based evening tabloid The News and a division of the Edinburgh-based Johnston Press UK-wide group of publishers of regional newspapers. The editorial offices are in Elm Grove.
It comes out on the first Monday of every month.
