Bordon Herald

The Bordon Herald is a weekly broadsheet newspaper sold in and around the garrison town of Bordon and the adjoining village of Whitehill in the district of East Hampshire.

It was established in 1971. It’s published by Farnham Castle Newspapers, part of the Tindle Newspapers group since 1975, and is part of their Farnham Herald series of weekly broadsheets for eastern and north-eastern Hampshire. The editorial offices are in Farnham.

There’s a companion freesheet published by Surrey & Hants Newspapers (also a Tindle subsidiary), the Bordon Messenger. A rival paid-for tabloid, the Bordon Post, was acquired from Johnston Press at the end of June 2013.

It comes out on Fridays. A paid e-edition is also available on the website.
