“) is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Alton in East Hampshire
It’s part of a series of weekly newspapers headed by the Surrey & Hants News and published by Surrey & Hants Newspapers Ltd (part of Tindle Newspapers) that originally dates back to 1885, although the Post Gazette itself was launched only in 2002. It’s also a companion to their paid-for broadsheet for the area, the Alton Herald.
The editorial offices are in Bordon.
It comes out on Tuesdays. A free e-edition’s also available on the website.
