Stockport Express
The Stockport Express is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Stockport (now in Greater Manchester) and the neighbouring towns, such as Cheadle, Hazel Grove and Poynton just across the county boundary in Cheshire.
It’s published by the Greater Manchester Weekly Newspaper Group, part of Manchester Evening Newspapers, which itself is part of the Guardian Media Group.
It was Community Newspaper of the Year in 1999.
It comes out on Wednesdays. It has a sister freesheet newspaper: the Stockport Times.
