St Helens Star
The St Helens Star is a weekly freesheet newspaper delivered to homes in the Metropolitan Borough of St Helens in Merseyside (formerly Lancashire), including the towns of Newton-le-Willows, Prescot, Knowsley, Rainford and Haydock as well as St Helens itself.
It’s published by Newsquest (Cheshire/Merseyside), part of the nationwide Newsquest group owned by the US-based Gannett Company, Inc. The editorial offices are in St Helens.
Although it’s a freesheet, a small number are sold by newsagents or by subscription.
It comes out on Thursdays.
