Southport Champion
The Southport Champion is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed free to homes in and around the seaside town of Southport in Merseyside, and neighbouring parts of south-west Lancashire.
It’s published by Waypride Ltd, trading as Champion Newspapers. It’s one of a series of Champion newspapers distributed in the area; the other editions cover Formby, Maghull, Ormskirk and Skelmersdale. All share a single website, and an editorial office in Southport.
It comes out on Wednesdays.
