Skelmersdale Champion
The Skelmersdale Champion is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed free to homes in and around the New Town of Skelmersdale in South West Lancashire.
It’s published by Waypride Ltd, trading as the Champion Media Group. It’s one of the earliest members of a series of Champion newspapers distributed in the area since 1994. All share a single website (which received a facelift in 2011), and an editorial office in Southport.
It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition’s also available free on the website.
