The Skelmersdale Champion is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed free to homes in and around the New Town of Skelmersdale in South West Lancashire.
It’s published by Waypride Ltd, trading as Champion Newspapers. It’s one of a series of Champion newspapers distributed in the area; the other editions cover Southport, Formby, Maghull and Ormskirk. All share a single website, and an editorial office in Southport.
It comes out on Wednesdays.
