The Midweek Visiter
is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed free to homes around Southport in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton
and neighbouring parts of south-west Lancashire and northern Merseyside, including Ormskirk and Formby.
It’s published by Trinity Mirror North West & Wales, and is a companion newspaper to the paid-for weekly tabloid the Southport Visiter. It was was launched in 1988 as a replacement for an earlier companion title, the Tuesday Visiter (which was itself a replacement of an earlier West Lancashire Visiter in 1977).
It comes out on Wednesdays.
