Ellesmere Port Pioneer
The Ellesmere Port Pioneer is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Ellesmere Port on the south bank of the River Mersey and surrounding villages in the Cheshire West and Chester unitary authority.
It was founded in 1920 and as of September 2011 was the only paid-for newspaper for the town. It’s published by Trinity Mirror North West & North Wales from editorial offices in Chester, which it shares with the Chester Chronicle.
It comes out on Wednesdays.
