All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

Bury Times

The Bury Times is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Bury and across the Metropolitan Borough of Bury in Greater Manchester (formerly Lancashire), including the smaller towns of Radcliffe, Whitefield and Ramsbottom.

It was established in 1855. It’s published by Newsquest (North West). The editorial offices are in Bolton.

Besides the main edition, there’s a sister edition for Radcliffe, the Radcliffe Times. (A local sub-edition for Ramsbottom and Tottington was discontinued in 2010.) There’s also a companion freesheet, the Bury Journal.

It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available by paid subscription – the free release from the following Sunday at noon has now been withdrawn.
