Blackburn Citizen
The Blackburn Citizen (in full, the Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn Citizen) is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered free to homes – and latterly also by pickup from supermarkets – in the unitary authority of Blackburn and Darwen and the Borough of Hyndburn (including the main town, Accrington) in East Lancashire.
It’s published by Newsquest (North West) and is one in a series of Citizen weekly freesheet companions to their paid evening title for East Lancashire, the Lancashire Telegraph. The editorial offices of the Citizen series are collocated with the Telegraph‘s in Blackburn.
It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition’s also available free from the website.
