News Post Leader
Despite the name, the News Post Leader is a single newspaper, not three – it’s a weekly freesheet tabloid distributed to households in the Blyth Valley and Wansbeck districts of Northumberland, including the towns of Morpeth, Ashington, Bedlington, Cramlington, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea and Seaton Delaval.
It’s published by Northeast Press, a division of Johnston Press since 1999. Its sister newspapers in the Johnston setup are the Morpeth Herald and the News Guardian.
Its main editorial offices are in Whitley Bay, with another sub-office in Morpeth. There are two editions, one for Blyth and one for Wansbeck.
