Hartlepool Star (defunct)
The Hartlepool Star was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Hartlepool in County Durham, and neighbouring villages including Seaton Carew, Greatham, Elwick and Hart.
It was published by Northeast Press, part of the Johnston Newspapers Northeast division of Johnston Press; they also publish the paid daily tabloid the Hartlepool Mail, with which the Star shared editorial offices.
The Star had no website of its own; the link below is to the Mail’s website.
It came out on Thursdays.
Perhaps oddly, the sub-edition for Peterlee survived its parent title’s demise.
