Tower Hamlets Recorder (defunct)
The Tower Hamlets Recorder was a local slip edition of the weekly tabloid newspaper the Newham Recorder for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, taking in the districts of Whitechapel, Wapping, Bethnal Green, Stepney, Shadwell, Mile End and Limehouse.
It was published by Archant London, the London division of the Archant media group’s regional newspaper publishing arm, Archant Regional. It shared the Newham Recorder‘s editorial offices in East Ham and its website.
It came out on Wednesdays.
It closed at the end of July 2008 and was incorporated fully into the Newham Recorder, which added an “Incorporating the Tower Hamlets Recorder” mention in its masthead.
