Stratford Recorder
The Stratford Recorder is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed direct to homes and via pickup points in the London Borough of Newham, covering the districts of East Ham, West Ham, Upton and Upton Park, Forest Gate and Plaistow as well as Stratford itself.
It was launched in April 2011 by publishers Archant London (part of the Archant media group’s newspaper publishing division, Archant Regional) as a replacement for the 145-year-old Stratford & Newham Express (which, according to its masthead, it now incorporates). It’s a slip edition of the paid-for Newham Recorder and, like it, has editorial offices in Archant London’s Ilford headquarters.
It comes out on Wednesdays. A free e-edition’s available online at the website.
