Mitcham & Morden Guardian

The Mitcham & Morden Guardian is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the suburbs of Mitcham and Morden in the London Borough of Merton in southern Greater London.

It was originally founded in 1990 as a slip edition of the Wimbledon Guardian (whose website it shares). From time to time since then it’s been reabsorbed into the parent title as the Wimbledon, Mitcham, Morden Guardian – perhaps unsurprisingly, as the amount of distinctive local content currently appears to be negligible.

It’s published by Newsquest (South London) from their offices in Sutton.

It comes out on Thursdays. A free e-edition is also available on the website, though you have to register for it.
