Lewisham Mercury

The Lewisham Mercury is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to households in the London Borough of Lewisham, including the suburbs of Catford and Forest Hill.

It was founded in 1833. It was taken over in 2007 by Tindle Newspapers from the previous owners, Trinity Mirror, along with several other London titles. It’s a local edition of the Greenwich Mercury, and also has close ties with the South London Press.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
