Edgware & Mill Hill Times

The Edgware & Mill Hill Times is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the suburbs of Edgware and Mill Hill in the western part of the London Borough of Barnet in north-western Greater London.

It’s published by Newsquest (North London) as part of its three-title group serving the London Borough of Barnet and neighbouring parts of Hertfordshire. The other titles in the series are the Barnet & Potters Bar Times, the Borehamwood & Elstree Times and the Hendon & Finchley Times. All are published from the same editorial offices (which were in Hendon until 2013, but have now moved to Newsquest (North London)’s Watford headquarters) and share a common website, although the separate local sub-sites haven’t been updated regularly since 2011.

It was founded in 1961 as the Edgware, Mill Hill & Kingsbury Times and Guardian, but adopted its present name three years later when the Hendon Times & Guardian changed title.

Although it’s a freesheet, a small number of copies (about two per cent) are sold through the news trade.

It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition (free) is also available via the website, though you have to register for it.
