Bromley Borough News

The Bromley Borough News is a weekly freesheet tabloid for the town and London Borough of Bromley in south-eastern Greater London and nearby communities in the central and northern parts of the London Borough of Bromley, including Orpington and Petts Wood.

It was established in 1981. It’s part of a group of five titles whose origins go back to 1966, when Gilbert Smith founded the Biggin Hill News. Now, however, it’s effectively the main title of the group, which was acquired by Tindle Newspapers in 1983. The editorial offices are in Westerham across the county boundary in Kent.

It comes out on Thursdays. A free e-edition’s also available via the website.
