Brent & Kilburn Times

The Brent & Kilburn Times is a weekly tabloid newspaper distributed as a part-freesheet, part-paid-for title across North West London – according to the pre-launch announcement in the last issue of the Kilburn Times, it covers “Alperton, Brondesbury, Colindale, Cricklewood, Dollis Hill, Harlesden, Kensal Green, Kensal Rise, Kenton, Kingsbury, Kilburn, Neasden, North Wembley, Queensbury, Queen’s Park, Stonebridge, Sudbury, Wembley, Willesden and all points in between!”

It was launched in September 2011 by North West London Newspapers (part of Archant London, a branch of the Archant media group). It replaced their three existing titles: the Kilburn Times – which went back to 1867, and whose website it’s taken over – as well as the slightly younger Willesden & Brent Times and the 2004 foundation the Wembley & Kingsbury Times. The editorial offices are in Swiss Cottage.

It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s available free online.
