All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

Blackheath Mercury

The Blackheath Mercury is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the district of Blackheath in south-eastern Greater London, straddling the boundary of the London Borough of Lewisham and the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

It’s published by South London Press, a branch of Tindle Newspapers, from their offices in Streatham. It was launched in July 2013 as a sister title of the Greenwich Borough Mercury, following SLP’s decision to concentrate on production of paid-for, hyperlocal titles. It shares a common website with the rest of the Mercury series.

It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition is also available online by paid subscription.
