Wellingborough & Rushden Herald & Post
The Wellingborough & Rushden Herald & Post is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the towns of Wellingborough in the district of that name, Rushden in the district of East Northamptonshire, and surrounding smaller towns and villages including Irthlingborough and Higham Ferrers.
It’s part of a two-title Northants Herald & Post series. Until 2008 the series was published by Midland Weekly Media, part of the nationwide Trinity Mirror group, but was then taken over by LSN Media Ltd, part of the Iliffe Media group. Up until early 2009 there were as many as seven titles in the series, but of the others now only the Northampton Herald & Post remains.
The two titles share a common website; Wellingborough and Rushden have their own news section. The joint editorial offices are in Northampton.
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available free online.
