Northampton Chronicle & Echo
The Northampton Chronicle & Echo is an evening tabloid newspaper for the town of Northampton and the surrounding countryside to a rough radius of about eight miles (including the smaller towns of Daventry, Brackley and Towcester).
It’s published by Northamptonshire Newspapers, part of the nationwide Johnston Press group. Its sister papers in the network of Johnston Press websites are the Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph and the Milton Keynes Citizen.
It celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2006.
There are two editions: the early edition and the Final edition. There’s also a range of individual special feature supplements for each day:
- Monday: “Sport on Monday”
- Tuesday: “Term-Time” (schools & colleges); “Business Week”
- Wednesday: “Property Today”
- Thursday: “Jobs Today”
- Friday: “The Guide” (weekend entertainment); “Motors Today”; “On the Ball” (junior sport)
- Saturday: “Weekend Life” (personal celebrations and photos); “Down Your Way” (local news); “Property for Sale” guide
