Mansfield & Ashfield Observer
The Mansfield & Ashfield Observer is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to households in the western Nottinghamshire town of Mansfield and surrounding towns (Mansfield Woodhouse, Market Warsop, Shirebrook) and villages, plus parts of the neighbouring district of Ashfield, including Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
It’s published by the Johnston Press-owned Derbyshire Times Group (Wilfred Edmunds Ltd), who also publish the Mansfield Chad series of paid weekly tabloids. (In fact, the Observer didn’t have a website of its own as of May 2008: the link below is for the Chad’s website.)
It comes out on Wednesdays.
