Lutterworth Observer
The Lutterworth Observer is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes in the south-western corner of Leicestershire around the market town of Lutterworth, in an area bounded by Catthorpe to the south, Theddingworth to the east, Broughton Astley to the north and the A5 to the west.
It’s a sub-edition of the Rugby Observer. Both are published by Redditch-based Bullivant Media, who produce a range of freesheets for the Midlands, mostly in Warwickshire and Worcestershire. The editorial staff are based in Leamington Spa.
The original publishers and founders of the Observer, Chris and Pat Bullivant’s Observer Standard Newspapers, went into official administration in March 2009. The Bullivants were able to save most of their titles from closing.
Originally the Lutterworth Observer had its own website, but that’s now been absorbed into the Rugby Observer‘s site.
It comes out on Thursdays.
