Lutterworth Observer (defunct)

The Lutterworth Observer was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes in the south-western corner of Leicestershire around the market town of Lutterworth, in an area bounded by Catthorpe to the south, Theddingworth to the east, Broughton Astley to the north and the A5 to the west.

It was a sub-edition of the Rugby Observer published by Redditch-based Bullivant Media, who produce a range of freesheets for the Midlands, mostly in Warwickshire and Worcestershire. The editorial staff were based in Leamington Spa.

It came out on Thursdays.

Originally the Lutterworth Observer had its own website, but that’s now been absorbed into the Rugby Observer‘s site. The lutterworthobserver.co.uk domain used to redirect there for a while, but has since been allowed to lapse; it was re-registered by a third party in September 2012.

To all intents and purposes, then, the Lutterworth Observer has ceased to exist as a separate title.
