Grimsby & Cleethorpes Advertiser

The Grimsby & Cleethorpes Advertiser is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the North East Lincolnshire towns of Grimsby and Cleethorpes and surrounding villages.

It was launched in late August 2012 as the freesheet companion of the paid-for evening tabloid newspaper the Grimsby Telegraph. It replaced separate freesheets for the two towns, the Grimsby Post and Cleethorpes Post series.

It’s published by the Grimsby & Scunthorpe Media Group (formerly Grimsby & Scunthorpe Newspapers), part of Northcliffe Media, which used to be the regional newspaper publishing arm of the Daily Mail & General Trust but is now the major constituent of the Local World group. It shares editorial offices in Grimsby with the Telegraph, which has also supplied its web presence since acquiring a publisher-branded website in the summer of 2013.

It comes out on Thursdays.
