All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

Coalville Mail

The Coalville Mail is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to households in the town of Coalville in north-western Leicestershire and the surrounding area, including the smaller towns of Whitwick and Ibstock.

It was launched in 1990. It’s published by Leicester Mercury Group Ltd, part of the Northcliffe Media group of regional newspapers, which in turn was part of the Daily Mail & General Trust until November 2012 but is now the major constituent of the Local World group. It’s the local freesheet companion to its paid-for daily title for the whole county, the Leicester Mercury. The editorial offices are in Leicester.

It has no website of its own; its web presence is through the Mercury‘s website.

It comes out on Thursdays.
