Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury

The Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the Norfolk towns of Wymondham and Attleborough to the south-west of Norwich, and their surrounding villages.

It’s published by the Archant Norfolk branch of the Archant media group, which was known as Eastern Counties Newspapers until a name change in 2002. It was founded in 1984 as an evolution from the Wymondham edition of the old Norwich Mercury.

Its sister paper is the Diss Mercury, with which it shares editorial offices in Diss.

It was split into two editions in June 2012, predictably titled the Wymondham Mercury and the much smaller Attleborough Mercury. Both share the same website.

It comes out on Thursdays. A free e-edition (of the Wymondham Mercury) is also available via the website.
