The Waveney & District Advertiser is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the Suffolk district of Waveney, embracing the towns of Lowestoft, Bungay, Beccles and Halesworth.
It’s published by Norwich-based Archant Norfolk, a division of Archant’s newspaper wing, Archant Regional. The editorial offices are collocated with those of the Great Yarmouth & Gorleston Advertiser in Gorleston.
It’s one of a series of four Advertiser freesheets distributed in eastern Norfolk and north-eastern Suffolk, together with the Norwich Advertiser, the Great Yarmouth & Gorleston Advertiser and the North Norfolk Advertiser.
It comes out on Fridays.
The Advertiser’s website carries a limited amount of news for Waveney District; more news is carried on the website of Archant’s paid title for the area, the Lowestoft Journal.
