St Albans & Harpenden Review
The St Albans & Harpenden Review is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the Hertfordshire towns of St Albans and Harpenden.
It’s published by Newsquest London from their offices in High Wycombe. It’s a companion paper to the St Albans Observer (and shares offices and a website with it), although it’s actually older than that newspaper by over a decade; it was launched in 1973 (by Alan Drake and Roy Scott) as St Albans’s first freesheet. It was taken over by Newsquest in May 1998, two years after the Observer.
It comes out on Wednesdays. There’s a sub-edition for Harpenden.
