Saffron Walden Weekly News
The Saffron Walden Weekly News is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to households in the North West Essex town of Saffron Walden and the surrounding area.
It was founded in 1889. It’s published by Cambridge Newspapers, a division of Iliffe News & Media, which itself has been part of Local World since the end of 2012. The main editorial office is at Cambridge Newspapers’ headquarters just north-east of Cambridge, but there’s an office in Saffron Walden too.
The Weekly News doesn’t have a website of its own; it shares one with the other newspapers in the Cambridge News stable. (The URL saffronwaldenweeklynews.co.uk redirects to it.)
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available free online.
