The Saffron Walden Reporter
is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes in north-western Essex and south-eastern Cambridgeshire
around the town of Saffron Walden, including the former RAF
airfield at Duxford as well as the very much currently in use airport at Stansted.
It was established in September 1980. From 1985 to 1992 it was entitled the Saffron Walden & Stansted Reporter.
It’s published by Archant Herts & Cambs, a branch of media group Archant‘s Archant Anglia division. The editorial offices in Saffron Walden are shared with the Reporter‘s sister title for the Great Dunmow area, the Dunmow Broadcast.
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition is also available on the website – you have to register first, but it’s free.
