The Potters Bar Times
is a local sub-edition of the weekly tabloid newspaper the Welwyn Hatfield Times
for the Hertfordshire town of Potters Bar.
Like its parent title, it’s published by Archant Herts & Cambs, part of the Archant media group’s Archant Anglia division, from the same editorial office in Welwyn Garden City.
It was launched in 1997. It’s not to be confused with the Barnet & Potters Bar Times, which is a weekly freesheet by rival publishers Newsquest.
It has no website of its own; the link below is to the Potters Bar news pages on the Welwyn Hatfield Times‘s site.
More than half of the print run is distributed by free pickup to commuters; the rest are sold through the news trade.
It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition (of the Potters Bar edition; before 2013 only the main edition was available) is also available by paid subscription.
