The Fakenham & Wells Times
is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the North Norfolk town of Fakenham and much of the surrounding area
, including Wells-next-the-Sea, Burnham Market, Binham, Holt, Docking and Holkham.
It was founded in 1880 as one of two editions of the Dereham & Fakenham Times and at that time bore the title the Fakenham & Dereham Times. It adopted its current name in 1987. (The other edition is now simply the Dereham Times.)
It’s published by Archant Norfolk, part of the Archant Anglia division of the Archant media group. The main editorial offices are in Norwich, but there’s an office in Fakenham too.
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available by paid subscription.
