Essex Enquirer
The Essex Enquirer is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for South-East and Mid Essex, including the towns and districts of Chelmsford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Billericay, Brentwood, Basildon and Castle Point.
It was launched in 2002. It’s the oldest member of an independently-produced three-title series published by Gateway Newspapers, together with the East London Enquirer and, since February 2011, the Thurrock Enquirer. All the papers in the series share a common website and editorial offices (which are in Billericay).
It comes out on Thursdays. A free e-edition’s also available on the website and by email.
