Dereham Times
The Dereham Times is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold around the town of Dereham (also known as East Dereham) and nearby towns and villages in the centre of Norfolk, including Swaffham.
It was established in 1880 as a spin-off from the 1864 foundation the People’s Weekly Journal. Originally it was called the Dereham and Fakenham Times and had a sister edition for the Fakenham area, the Fakenham and Dereham Times. Nowadays the Fakenham edition is known as the Fakenham & Wells Times.
It’s published by Archant Norfolk (one of five regional branches of the Archant media group’s newspaper publishing division, Archant Regional) from editorial offices in Dereham.
It comes out on Fridays. A paid-for e-edition is also available via the website.
